Corolla / Matrix 2009-13 :: 2010 - Oil Stains On The Headliner

I recently took my 2010 Toyota Corolla LE to the dealer for an oil change and also to resolve a trunk leak.

I guess when they tried to resolve the trunk leak their mechanic smeared some oil on the headliner. Whats the best way to remove the oil stains on the headliner?

Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: Water Leak In Passenger Rear Corner Of Headliner

My 2014 F150 has been in 5 times now for a leak issue and I'm tired of it. I get a water leak in the passenger rear corner of the headliner that makes a big wet stain in the headliner. It rained all day yesterday and now the drivers side rear is wet. The dealer has resealed the rake light, changed to an "upgraded" gasket, sealed again, sealed the top roof trim, sent the truck out to have the rear window removed and resealed...and its still leaking...if anything worse now.

The gasket Ford uses is clearly not the right answer as it's sub par, and Id rather not use silicon as I've heard it can damage paint and even the metal eventually. Is there a permanent fix for this? I'll do it myself so it just gets fixed right...5 times at the dealer is enough! I'd buy a light like a Recon or something if I knew it would fix this leak issue for good. Wondering what others have done. This is a brand new truck with under 10,000 miles on it and I've been fighting this crap since I had 500 miles on it. It's literally unbelievable!

Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: Leaking Around Back Window Passenger Corner

To start out with, Leaky rear window.

It is definitely a leak around my back window, passenger corner. I have personally watched water run in and not run out the back, but in my cab. My Issue is that I cannot find any info as to how to lower my back seats to access the screws required to remove the window.

My truck is a 2011 XLT Supercrew/Cab, whichever is 2 door. Full backrest and 60/40 seat split. below is a picture of my seat and behind the headrests where people say to dig around for a "pin" to pull up and then lower the seat, but it appears I don't have that option.

Tiguan :: Headliner Separating From Roof?

Just noticed that an A-pillar plastic cover (on the right side) is coming apart from headliner. Inspected it further and discovered that the headliner is somewhat separating from the roof, so much that I can stick my fingers in there. Nothing like that on the left side. It seems that there are no clips that that I could push back in, it just hangs freely.

Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: Roof Won't Go Down / Whistle Coming From It When Trying To Close

Cold here today accidentally opened up this am trying to close as a whistle was coming from it. Now it wont go down..motors are working can here them..it pulls on glass to come down but it stops an wont budge it downward..does not sound like any stripped gears as was frozen this am...

I am gonna have to take to dealer.......sun out and warming it up as its 30-34 here... but does not look like any ice stuck in it. Make some noise opening this am but again does not appear any gears are stripped or anything as Id hear them..

No pushing or fiddling works. Its in the VENT position. Glass up vs retracted into headliner.

Dodge - Ram :: Water Leak From Back Window

I've got an '05 Dodge Ram quad cab. The back window is leaking like crazy. I'm guessing it was probably replaced at some point and it wasn't caulked properly. Taking that window out and recaulking it seems like a big job. It's a 10 year old truck, so I'm not looking for perfection, but I can't have the whole truck smelling moldy either. What is a good way to put a bandaid on that? I'm thinking maybe some roofing tar or driveway crack sealer? On the other hand, water is pretty insidious. There are serious temperature and vibration issues.

Ford F-150 (2004-2008) :: Back Of Headliner Leaking?

We just got a bunch of rain in San Diego and my cousin was sitting in the back seat of my scab when she felt water on her shoulder on the passenger side back window. I did some investigating today to find it not coming through the window but dripping off the back of the headliner. Is it the third brake light or the back window seal? If it is any recommendations on a fix?

Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: Sliding Rear Window Not Closing All The Way

I have a 2010 F150 Lariat Super Crew. The rear sliding window does not completely close. I have read a few posts about lubricating the cable and tapping the window motor. I have leather seats with the rear arm rest, but cannot locate the window motor. I have lubricated the cable, on both sides while someone opened and closed the window.

I have attached a picture. The small metal crimp hits the black plastic stopper and the window is still open a crack. It is as though the window slid open more from its original spot. The small metal crimp hits the black plastic stopper and the window is still open a crack.

Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: Power Window Functionality Is Reversed

Why in the newer Fords, the power window functionality is reversed compared to the older models (old was push forward to close window, push backward to open). I have an older 2006 truck, and it is the reverse of my 2011, and all of my previous vehicles that had power windows right back to their invention were opposite of my 2011..... Most days I push the switch the wrong way in both vehicles on account of this change. Never remember.

I've used the seating tool but dont understand how they can stay in the channel locked in when there's clearance on them.
