Golf IV R32 :: Oil Slightly Over Full Mark?

So I just did a oil change with motul and didn't realize that they where liters not quarts so I poured all 6 In like I normally do then I was looking at the bottles and realized what I had just done my oil is now just slightly over the full mark do u think this is anything to worry about I just don't want any more problems being that I just had to put a new Haldex pump In to fix my AWD im kinda tapped out on r32 parts and repairs for the moment

Phaeton :: Fuel Gauge Only Goes To Last Small Mark Before Full Line

The last two fill-ups I have noticed the fule gauge only goes to the last small mark before the "full" line. I haven't hit any thing under the car. It can be slow to fill but I know it's full.....like really full, to the small filler hole full . Is there a way to reset the fuel gauge limits with a Vag-Com?

Golf V R32 :: Fuel Gauge Stops At About Mark Half Way Between 3/4s And Full

Over the past approx 3 weeks Ive noticed that my gas gauge stops at about the mark half way between 3/4s and full now. Previously when I would fill the tank it would go about 1 click beyond full. Today,with the needle damn near on empty I filled up and it only took 9.13 gallons. During this same time span I am only avg approx 17mpg where prior i was getting over 23/24 mpg.

Ford Excursion :: 2003 - 2 Inch Lift?

I have a 2003 Excursion 4x4 Diesel 6.0. I want to do a lift of 2 inches with 18 inch wheels and 33 inch rubber. What is the best and most affordable way to get that done? The lift kits are at least a grand and that seems crazy for a 2 inch lift. I want to continue to park the scurge in the garage. So 4 inch is probably pushing it for garage access. My garage is 81.5 inches tall.

Ford Excursion :: BDS 4" Lift - How To Get Extra Inch

So I have the option to get a bds 4" lift for about 325 brand new from a friend.

Hard to pass up that deal but I really need like a 6 to 7" lift.

Is there anything i can add to get a few extra inches? Shackles?

I do NOT go off road its just for street use, and I only drive it maybe 4k a year if that.

Ford Excursion :: Fuel Gauge Reads Full All The Time?

So I had the brakes services yesterday at a new shop in town. Normally I wouldn't do this, I like to do it myself. After I dropped the truck off I get a call a while later and the service tech tells me that the passenger front caliper is the wrong one. He says it's actually for the drivers side, but who ever did the brakes last just flipped it upside down and put it on the passenger side. So in essence, I have two drivers side calipers on the front of my truck.

I got under ther and looked and the bleeder screw is on the bottom on the passenger side. I would assume it's supposed to be on the top like the others?

So here's my questions......

1. Is it even possible to put the drivers side on the passenger side (upside down?)

2. Is it really the wrong caliper? It has been working for over two years like this with no ill effects.

3. Should I worry about it if in fact it is the wrong caliper?

I've never done the brakes on this truck actual truck myself. I really hate taking things to the shop because you never know if they are trying to scam you, which I'm pretty sure they were. I left there with only new pads...

It's time to do some oil change and is using 10w30 synthetic but the truck is eating fuel like crazy and I can hear some kind of knocking when full throttle .

Ford Transmission :: 1996 F150 Not Shifting Into Second Under Full Throttle

96 F150 carbed 300 with a C6/208 SAS44/9" with 3.55 on 35s.

I put a transgo shift kit in the transmission before putting it in the truck, it also has a small stall. At half throttle you can manually shift 1-2-3 with no issue at all. Under full throttle when you shift to second it won't go into second until you push the shifter into third. Then it'll go to second and spin the tires when it grabs second in dirt. This is all in 4lo, I was gonna switch to 2hi and try it but it's raining and I don't feel like crawling under it to change it. The truck is a mud toy so will spend 90% of its time in 4lo.

I don't have a vacuum line currently hooked to the transmission because I have the same shiftkit (transgo) in my 77 and no vacuum line on it either and it works fine.

Golf VI R :: Vibrations In Second Gear Near Full Or Full Throttle Around 2000 RPM

My R is vibrating in second gear near full or full throttle around 2,000 Rpm. It feels like a high frequency vibration. It seems to be only happening in that scenario. It's when the turbo spools up and there is a large rush of exhaust gas produced very quickly. My guess is that my apr downpipe paired to the stock cat back is the culprit. It didn't happen when I first put the downpipe on, but after the next track day it started. I don't know if there is anything to burn in inside the apr downpipe but it got louder too. Could it be back pressure from the stock cat back? It's very strange and I wondered if it is stage 2+ but running the stock cat back has felt this? I checked to see if the drive shaft was rubbing on anything and for any other visual indicators of rubbing around the downpipe and I see nothing. Perhaps it's the stock muffler. I'm just not sure.

Ford Excursion :: 4R100 Transmission Will Not Go From 2nd To 3rd

I have an 04 Excursion v10 with 170K on odometer. I am having trouble with transmission shifting into 3rd. When I take off it shifts fine to 2nd, but it will not go into 3rd as it should. I can back off throttle and re accelerate a couple of times and then it will shift fine all day long. The OD light is not blinking but I did scan for codes and there is a soft code P1741 - there is no light on dash illuminated. Just wondering if this sounds like a valve body problem or shift solenoid. I am out of town and can't ohm test solenoids til I get home.

Ford Excursion :: Transmission Problem

I have a 2004 Ex/4x4/V10 with 141k miles. I bought this just over a year ago and have put about 15k miles on it (no troubles at all). I took it to the local dealer yesterday to have it serviced; oil, coolant & transmission filter/fluid change. It went into gear and shifted OK on the ride home but when I got in it today it won't go into gear. The shifter moves from P to all the gears but the tranny is like its in neutral all the time. The linkage moves the sensor on the side of the tranny and the plug on the sensor is secure. Any suggestions of anything to check before calling the dealer to come tow it to the shop? I have used this dealer for several years and trust them so I don't suspect anything about the service.

Ford Excursion :: Transmission Shifter Arm Replacement?

Overdrive off button hasn't worked in a couple years and there is no power to the switch so I figure the wires across the column are damaged. Even after replacing the button a couple times the ends were always falling off so I'm ready to replace the entire shifter arm assembly. I also need to replace the bushings since the arm is loose.

I will also be installing yet another turn signal since the one from Rock Auto didn't last long. The new one will be from Auto Zone, which said the shifter arm is a dealer only item.
