Ford F-150 - 1997-2003 :: Exact Location Of AC / Heater Blower Relay

Locating subject relay on my F-150 XLT Extended Cab, 4.6Ltruck. All my research thus far indicates it is somewhere on the truck. An electrical diagram I've come up with shows it in the "Blower/Flasher Relay Block". So my question is exactly where is the Blower/Flasher Relay Block?

Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: AC Fan Noise As Something Flapping Around Inside The Duct

It is finally getting hot here in Texas and I turned my AC on Max the other day. It has a sound like there is something flapping around inside the duct work or something like that. Like a flag whipping in the wind. I tried feet, defrost open and closed loop etc and the noise is always there. It is really annoying when it is on high speed. Also, I did not notice the noise during the winter. Is there some where that leaves or something like that can get into that might cause this type of noise. The truck is a 2010 FX4.

Ford Ranger / B-Series :: 1999 - Dashboard Air Duct Does Not Switch Properly

In my 1999 Ranger, I can flip the air outlet switch to cause the air to exit either up, down, or straight out -- except that most of the time the air WILL NOT come straight out the dashboard ducts. I am assuming that there is some kind of diverter valve inside the dash that is intermittently working, but I do not know how to get to it. Do I remove the radio panel? If so, how? Or is there a way to get to it some other way, like from underneath or through the glove box? Does it just need a shot of WD-40 to free it up?

Camry :: Gen5 - Location Of Heater Control Tab / Valve?

Where Gen5 Camry heater control tab/valve is located? I can't seem to find in engine bay. Is it in cabin under dash? Under drivers side dash, I can only see heater control valve cable. I have got a hot coolant coming to heater core, so heater control valve must have gone bad.

Dodge - Caravan :: 1997 - Heater Fan Resistor Location

My Caravan heater fan runs only on high speed. Am I correct in assuming that this is caused by a burned out heater fan resistor? If I am correct, where is the heater fan resistor located? I understand the 1995 to 1997 Caravan and Voyagers are all alike. I looked behind the glove box and didn't recognize anything as being the resistor. The fan cover is there but if I took it off, I wouldn't know what the resistor looks like!.

Toyota - Avalon :: 1998 - Heater Resistor Location?

Replacing a heater motor resistor in a 1998 Toyota Avalon and knows exactly where the thing is? All I get is the same "canned" response when searching the internet. I've got the glove box out and have dropped the heater blower itself. Funny thing is when I run my hand around in the heater housing their is no heater motor resistor located there. Is it possible the car doesn't have one? I did pick up the part from my NAPA store, and they do make one for it.

Ford Excursion :: Headlights Went Out - Location Of Relay?

I found that both my headlights was out. I went and replaced one of the lamps and found that it still did not work. I started troubleshooting and it led me to the headlight relay. Where to find it?

*When I turn the switch to auto = No Headlights
*When I turn the switch to headlights and hit the function switch to turn on brights = No Brights either
*If I pull back on the function switch to momentary = Brights come on until I release the function switch

Ford Excursion :: Horn Isn't Working - Relay Location?

My horn isn't working. The under-dash fuse is OK and was going to check the horn relay, but can't figure out which one it is despite numerous FTE and Google searches. I pulled the cover on 2 power distribution boxes under the hood, driver's side. One box has 2 relays. The other has 4. Which one controls the horn?

Then...how do I test it to see if it's good/bad?

Ford Excursion :: 2003 - Location Of Entry Pipe To Add Oil?

I have my late husbands 2003 6 liter Turbo diesel Excursion; what an excellent workhouse for a widow interested in building DIY things out of used pallet wood!

I am not very savvy AT ALL about vehicles and engines (you may even laugh at my question). I can't tell WHICH IS THE ENTRY PIPE FOR ADDING OIL? It started smoking on my way home, and a friend who came to wait for the tow truck with me added 2 qts to what turned out to be the container for radiator overflow, I am told! My truck is home and I KNOW I must put oil in, but the only manual I can find is NOT for the turbo diesel and the illustrations n photos look nothing like my engine!

Ford Excursion :: Door Ajar Switches Location?

When I turned the key on, interior lights stayed on and the door "ajar" icon was on. Open and shut all the doors including the rear hatch. Still on. Did it again and still on. Ran X through the car wash yesterday and all worked OK when I parked it. Didn't have my glasses on so I could not see a specific door open. In fact they all appeared to be open. Did not have time to screw with it.

Where are the door/hatch switches located?

I have had the relay switch changed out and that was not the problem.

Ford Excursion :: 2005 - Removing FICM Relay - Location?

I have a 2005 6.0 and a FICM tuner from PHP. I need to remove the FICM relay so I don't fry injector 1 (I think that what it is). Anyway, I've done a lot of reading and can't seem to figure out which relay it is. The instructions say the relay closest to the passenger front, but also say almost always grey. So, The grey relay is passenger toward firewall. The directions also say that the injectors will not buzz if removed. I took each out and still had injector buzz. Tried again tonight, truck is hot, just been driven. I pulled the grey relay and turned key to on. Buzzed for just a second then stopped but did the same for the other relay and same when put back in.
