Phaeton :: 2004 - TPMS Sensor With No Label?

I have a problem with the TPMS of my '04 Phaeton.

Sensors have already been exchanged, still the car seems to have a problem with the tires of one axis. It displays a number in the middle reflecting the tire's pressure, but there is no "OK" or caution label in the boxes right and left to the car symbol.

This problem can also not be solved by (proper) calibration.

Corolla / Matrix 2009-13 :: Coolant Is Leaking From Left Side Between Radiator And The Block

My father put my f150 into reverse he says he didn't gas it. It was 2-3 feet in between the cars and the hitch went into the bottom grill below the front license plate. Coolant is leaking from the left side between the radiator and the block. Now the trucks hitch didn't go far enough to hit the radiator, or anything else I can see. I have cleaned the coolant and am in the waiting process try to identify the location. I believe that it is oozing from the water pump ( most of the coolant is underneath it), on the other hand there is coolant also by the radiator just not as much. I have the ability to fix this just not the tools. My family is going to take it to the dealer ship I just do not want them to get finagled around.

Ford Excursion :: Grinding Noise In Front End On Left Side

Had a grinding noise in my front end, left side. Found the hub was bad so got it replaced. Now I still have a grinding noise that comes and goes. If I hit a bump, it starts the grinding noise but nothing constant. Had the front end checked and nothing was obvious. Was trying different things and when I put it in 4WD, with the switch on the dash, the noise goes away. What to try next?

I sprayed wd40 in there, nothing. It won't budge. If its a broken cable inside, how to I take off the interior door panel to get to the access holes and actuator on that door or both doors on the tailgate?

Ford Ranger / B-Series :: Left Radiator Cap Off For Unspecified Amount Of Time While Driving

I opened up my hood yesterday to check on everything and happened to notice that my radiator cap was gone. I don't know if I just forgot to put it back on the last time I checked my coolant or what happened, but I of course immediately bought another one and put that on. What happened to the old one. Looked all through the engine and didn't see a cap laying in there anywhere.

Anyway, do I have anything to be worried about? My truck has never overheated or anything. I really don't know how long I was driving around with that cap off. The coolant was a little low in the radiator but actually not too bad. Only had to add a little to get it back to the top. Should I be worried that this caused any damage in any way or am I OK since I never overheated?

Ford Excursion :: 2004 - Water Leak On Driver Side

I have a 2004 Excursion 4x4 with only 85k. miles on it. My problem is that there is a water leak on the drivers side, either around the windshield or door weather strip. I say weather strip, because when I opened the door this morning, after a very heavy rain last night, there was some moisture on the inside of the door where the seal should have stopped it. My wife saw water on the emergency break pedal, and has felt a couple drops on her foot.

This is my second EX with the same problem, except the first one, a 2000 model, was much worse. It was leaking down on the GEM and fuse box. Replacing the windshield did not even slow the leak down. After several attempts to fix the problem with no luck, I decided to sell. I don't want to sell this one, but if I can't fix the leak before the electrical problems start, I won't have a choice.

Ford Excursion :: 2004 Sitting Low On Driver Side - Track Bar?

I changed out my front springs awhile ago and recently pulled off the track bar and replaced the bushings with Energy suspension bushings.

Today I noticed that the Ex is sitting a bit low on the drivers side. I measured from the bottom of the fender to the ground, drivers side 40 inches, passenger side 40 1/2 inches.

It was really hard getting the track bar back in after the bushing change. Would an adjustable track bar fix this?

This is for a 2004 Excursion 4x4 with a 6.0. Bilstein shocks, approx 1 1/2 years old.

Ford Excursion :: Flushing V-10 Radiator To Get Crystal Clear Water?

You will get wet but not scalded but is nice to get it done and not that hard. (revised).

1; Pull the cap, bottom hose, and open the petcock on a cold engine.

2; Remove the thermostat with a 10mm socket (easy) and put the housing back on lightly.

3; Install garden hose in top and turn on full blast, and turn the heater on.

4; Start the engine, grab the hanging bottom hose and push it onto the bottom radiator neck about 1/4", wait a couple minutes until the garden hose overflows at the top of the plastic radiator chamber. (yes you will get wet), pull the bottom hose loose, repeat 3-4 times until the dirty water is scavenged from the block and rad. (important step).

5; Shut off water at garden hose, stop the engine, replace the bottom hose and replace the thermostat with the 195 degree one (stock) if it hasn't been done lately. (they don't last and work well forever) The rubber O-ring goes on the top.

6; Start the engine and run the garden hose at the top the same speed as the water is coming out the petcock at the bottom. Note how clear the water is coming out and idle the engine until is runs clear. (about 10 minutes). The water might get hot at this time but you're not under the truck at this point.

7; Stop the engine, close the petcock, remove the heater hose from the front of the intake manifold, put 3 to 4 gallons of undiluted antifreeze in (50% undiluted antifreeze 50/50 will give you a range of 34 degrees BELOW zero to +265 degrees F) , fill with distilled water until the water comes out the pipe fitting on the manifold, replace hose, fill to line, and check the level every day for the next 2-3 days.

Ford Excursion :: Remove Plastic Cover In Front Of Radiator?

I took the plastic cover in front of the radiator off to clean the radiator and condenser. It directs air through the condenser before it gets to the radiator and I was wondering if it would cool the engine without it (if you don't need real cold ac air) . Without it the air can go over the top of the condenser and it is still blocked by the flap that stops airflow above the radiator. Also, I am wondering if the fact that the condenser has nothing in it affects the radiator cooling, and is it bad for the AC system to be empty. (My AC doesn't work)
