Civic - Honda :: 2006 EX Coupe - Power Windows And Door Locks Stopped Working
We've got a 2006 Civic EX Coupe, and the power windows and power door locks have both stopped working. If I can remember correctly, they kind of faded out over the course of a few weeks, working intermittently then not working at all.
All window and door lock fuses (interior and under the hood) are still good.
What this could be? Is it something DIY fixable? I've removed door panels for random stuff, but haven't really done much with power window electronics.
Prius (2004-09) :: Tail Light Reflector Fell Off
Maybe I should just give up and be happy with the standard bulbs, but I had to try putting in led bulbs. While doing this the bulb I had was just a little to long. It popped of the reflector that sits on the red plastic piece and is now resting in the bottom of the housing. Is there a way of putting it back on with out destroying it or getting a new assembly.

I noticed the "shield" or "reflector" in my OEM fog lights sagging. I've never really paid much attention to them but noticed that both were sagging. I'm not sure what the part is called, but you can see from the pic. Is this is an issue? Would this be covered under warranty? It looks like a screw has vibrated loose and the shield has dropped. I have a regular service anyway.

So my partner got out of the car today and SLAMMED the door behind him (something I've gotten after him about many many times!) This time though the seatbelt managed to get stuck between the door. This has caused a nick on the inside door panel thingy (close to where the latch is) obviously this cannot be seen unless you open the door and look at it. Is there any action I should take for this or just leave it alone?

My friend's 2012 Elantra's driver's door lock has started acting up intermittently. Sometimes the door locks, sometimes it doesn't. It won't do it on command so it can't be taken to the dealer to be looked at. Has this problem been cropping up on the 2012 models? He has had it for almost 2 years and has about 22000 miles.

I am a proud owner of a 14' Elantra Sport MT. Did a quick research and didn't find anything that is relevant to my issue. The door handles on the front driver and passenger door panels creek whenever you grab them, whether it is to shut the door or just grab them and give a light squeeze. Definitely not something a new car should be doing.
Another thing, I bought this car down south and am driving it back up to the northeast and during my journey I noticed that the wiper cowl vibrates from the wind, this is very annoying when the radio is turned down. It doesn't present itself until you reach speeds in excess of 60mph. Currently, the car is averaging 38mpg highway!
Elantra MD (2010-15) :: Auto Door Lock Not Working
Want to confirm if this is a malfunction or a normal behavior:
The Auto Door Lock function in my 2016 Elantra VP seems to be behaving oddly.
1) If I do not lock or forget to lock the doors using the remote or the door button after exiting the car, all 4 doors remain unlocked even after 24 hours. For security reasons, I expected that the doors should get auto-locked after some time when the vehicle key/remote has been out of the vehicle for a substantial amount of time. However, this is not happening to my surprise.
2) After driving a few miles when I have stopped the car and turned off the ignition, I sometimes find that the Passenger and Rear Doors have locked automatically by themselves whereas sometimes they remain all unlocked. I have not noticed any particular pattern when the Passenger/Rear doors are getting auto-locked by themselves and when they are not. It seems random to me.
Is it a malfunction in my car? The owner's manual does not specify anything in particular about such behavior.

it seems that when you get in the car and drive away, the doors don't lock themselves automatically, which is a big surprise to me since my previous 2003 focus had this feature.

Occasionally, when I use the key (not the key fob) to open the driver door, after turning the key, the horn will beep-beep-beep-beep.
Then, I put the key back in the keyslot, lock the door & unlock it, and it stops. Why that happens?

I have just bought a 2013 Elantra GLS and occasionally the passenger door won't shut. When you close the door, it will bounce back. It's like it's not catching. I took it to the dealer and they lubed the mechanism that catches, but it did it again. And of course, this is one of those things that won't repeat itself at the dealership.

I just bought an Elantra Limited 2015, have 3 days with the car, it is fantastic but when i put 144km on it, the driver door ajar chime started to go off (8 ding dings) every time i open the car from the outside or inside and only when the switch is set to OFF. it does not happen in ACC or RUN, i thought it might be the lights left on alarm but it happens in whatever headlight switch position so it has nothing to do with the lights and it only happens with the driver door. is this design intent?.. Why it didn't happen before?..

I just purchased a Shimmering White 2012 Hyundia Elantra GLS last Wednesday. I love it so far!
The only issue I have (and I'm probably nitpicking). Is that I'll occasionally turn the car off (all accessories off, mind you), and when I open the Driver door, the car will 'ding' repeatedly. Again, no lights or accessories are on. I'm also not able to remote-lock the car after this happens.
The only fix I've found is to put the key back in the ignition and turn the car to accessory, then back to off...then the car doesn't 'ding' when I open the Driver door.
