Camry 2012+ :: Rattle Coming From Driver Side Dash Speaker
So I have finally solved the rattle that has been seemingly coming from my driver side dash speaker. I'm not exactly sure which of the 3 things I did fixed it, but it's fixed.
First, I removed the 2 10mm bolts securing the speaker and removed the wiring harness. I noticed that there are 2 metal clips that those bolts screw into and they are loose, so I took some electrical tape and just taped over them to keep them from rattling.
Next, I found the wire for the speaker has a plastic shroud around it that is very stiff and could make noise, so I wrapped that with electrical tape as well.
Finally, the thing that was most likely the cause of the rattle was a loose wiring harness attached to the firewall. If you reach into the speaker hole you will feel the harness just under the hole. Where the harness is attached to the firewall it was extremely loose. I simply took a paper towel and was able to wedge it behind the harness and the firewall which kept it from moving.
Now the driver side rattle is gone, but I've noticed another rattle somewhere else near the center/passenger side of the dash. Every time I fix one rattle I seem to find another. Maybe I'm being a little OCD about it.
Camry 2012+ :: Phone Sounds Horrible During Call Via Bluetooth
I have a 2016 XLE with the head unit that has nav but is not the premium JBL. My wife and I both use our phones in the car. We both have Samsung Galaxy S5 phones. I have the Entune app on my phone. My phone sounds great when I use the hands free talking. When my wife calls me from the car her phone sounds horrible. Two identical phones and one sounds great and the other horrible. Is there a fix for this problem?

So I have some road resurfacing happening near my home which I've been driving through recently. One thing that I've begun hearing is a rattle that sounds like it's coming from the center speaker area on my dash. I have the ML system so not sure if the standard audio package has this speaker. I'm not 100% that it coming from the speaker but it's somewhere towards the center of my dash.

So my dad has an 03 Camry and the front brakes make way too much noise. It doesn't bother him much but when we switch cars on some days, it bothers the heck out of me.
I searched around on the forums and i couldn't find my exact situation. The front brakes are not even close to being worn and rotors were changed recently as well. The mechanics clean the area to see if it works but it doesn't. The brakes squeal A LOT especially when it is cold. Applying light to medium pressure will trigger the sound.
Say I was to brake from anywhere between 10-30 miles per hour, it would make such a loud squeal. but when I'm cruising and have to break a little heavier than normal, it won't squeal. Sometimes it won't even make a noise when they are warm. Also it would make so much noise moving slowly in heavy traffic, it bothers me so much and it is quite embarrassing.
Caprice :: 1984 - Car Starts But Sounds Horrible
I got an 84 caprice that was given to me by my uncle. The car starts but sounds horrible. When I drive it I have to mash on the pedal to get it to stop missing. Once I get her going she rides fine but from a dead stop she putters a lot. Also I have to stand on the brake and its still not stopping fast enough. It has the stock 305 with the electronic choke rochester quadrajet.

Aftermarket radio with aftermarket speakers with factory wiring.
I believe this issue was present before I replaced the speakers. The audio is scratchy out of the left side only. Checked the connections at the speakers. Speakers are brand new.
My first thought is check the radio connections to the factory wiring. Is there anything else I can check?
I'm getting the right resistance at the speaker.
In addition to being scratchy, the volume is low and sound is somewhat lifeless compared to the other side.
Touareg :: Stereo Vibrates Like A Blown Speaker
I hear a vibration almost like a blown speaker but it does not happen on all songs. SO this leads me to believe it is something in the door. Also if I put pressure on the door it goes away.

While driving over bumps my front end makes horrible rattling sounds. The car also bounces somewhat wildly when i push down while it's parked. I figure its time to replace the suspension as it's got 125k miles on it. My question is exactly what parts do i need to buy? I am going to do both the front and back. I see names of parts thrown around all over. bushings, struts, springs, bearings etc... so what parts do i need to buy?

The speaker in my drivers door is blown or there's a wiring issue I haven't taken off the card yet to inspect it. I have two stock speakers from a buddies car that only have 8k and two years on them. My question is should I stick with stock ones since I plan on sticking with the stock head unit, or should I upgrade? What speakers that work well with the stock system?

I Recently purchased a Phaeton. However just the other day I found out the left rear passenger door speaker (the large one) is blown.
The dealer also has another Phaeton on the lot. The difference between the two is my vehicle has the upgraded sound system while the one at the dealer does not.
I was wondering if the two speakers from the two cars are the same or if they're interchangeable.
My vehicle is a 2006 while the dealer's is an '05.
Camry :: Blown Head Gasket - Smoke Coming Out Of Hood
Saturday I was driving to my friend's house. My A/C is broken (just happened 2 weeks ago) so my windows were down. I hear a loud boom. I hear a clicking noise when I accelerate but it stops when I take my foot off the gas.
I am 5 minutes away from his house and he's a mechanic so I just wait until I get there but as I'm turning left, I notice my car is smoking. When I get there, I couldn't even put it in reverse to park and there was smoke coming out of my hood. He and another mechanic friend said it was a blown head gasket.
I had it towed to a mechanic and he said it was a blown head gasket and quoted me $1,800. I know nothing about cars so there's no way I'm fixing it myself.
Is this worth fixing or should I just get a used car and sell it as is or for parts?
It has 230,000 miles on it and I drive 80 miles per day for work. No other problems except the A/C as far as I know.
Camry 2012+ :: HID Fuse Blown - One Side Light Keep Coming On And Off
The first time installing my hid without a relay harness was a fail. One side keep coming on and off and I gave up went back to stock after it blew out my fuse. This time I tried using using the same kit with a relay harness and it was good for about 10-15 mins and then it starts flickering then both side went off. Pulled over and realized my fuse blew out again. I am having real bad luck with hid, or is it a bad kit?? I love hid but it's really causing me a headache. Can my 2014 Camry not handle HID or what? New kit?? Car can't handle hid?? Why does my fuse keep blowing?!! My kit is opt7 by the way.

Picked up my new ride yesterday, 2012 F-150 STX tuxedo black, supercab
4x4, 3.55 e-locker, 5.0l. It is one nice ride but it already has a blown speaker rear drivers side which is frustrating, I see this is a common issue with these trucks. Just hope it is not a recurring thing. But still a great truck.

I just got my ultra white/Black GS FSport Monday and noticed right away that the phone audio is complete garbage. When I make a call it sounds like my speakers are blown. Really bad crackly and cutting out of the audio, as if my phone was just outside of the BT signal range, when in fact it's in my pocket. Tech guy at Lexus said to disconnect and remove device from both the phone and the car and pair the phone again...but same problems.

My 03 Camry is blowing cold air on the passenger side while the heat is on. The drivers side blows hot air as it should. The coolant is full. Its a 4cyl LE and does not have dual climate control.
