Camry :: 2002 - When Turn On AC Light Flashes And Compressor Does Not Spin
I have a 2002 Camry with an A/C problem. When I turn on the A/C, the A/C light flashes and the compressor does not spin. I have check the following:
1. The compressor is fully functional when I feed power to it.
2. The A/C fuse, 10A, is functional.
3. The Mag CLT relay is functional.
4. The cabin filter is new.
5. There is enough refrigerant.
Camry :: 2002 AC Light Periodically Flashing
My wifes car is an 2002 Camry 4Cyl. It has a periodic flashing A/C light and decrease or no performance when it does so. I called the dealer and asked for a magnetic clutch relay for A/C. Went to pick up the part and they had 90080-87026 waiting. My research shows that 90987-02022 (in the car now) was superseded by 90987-02028.
What is 90080-87026 for? Did they give me the wrong part?
Camry :: 2002 - AC Light Is Flashing / Hot Air Blown
I have an 2002 Toyota Camry and having problems with ac. Ac light is flashing. I have put compressor (used) on, brand new expansion valve, flushed out lines, and recharged. Air started to blow cold then quits again. Now compressor kicks on then off. At my limits on what's the problem.

The green A/C light on my 2002 Camry (4 cyl) will start to flash after the the A/C is turned on. After reading about the relay fix I tried swapping relays and had the same symptoms. The compressor will engage and for the few seconds that its engaged it will just barely start to blow cooler air until it starts to flash. I then noticed that with the relay completely removed I would also get the flashing light after a few seconds when the A/C was turned on but the air would not start to turn cold.

I have a major issue the wife 09 camry won't crank nor start. It all happened after i touched the alternator and heat shield with a rachet . She was complaining about her battery light coming on and flashing so I goes out to see and noticed the ark coming from the alternator so i reached down to touch the wire while the car running and hit both the heat shield and alternator together sparks jumped off of course . I shut the running car off then tightrb up the alternator loose bolt. When I tried to restart the car it wouldn't turn over. I checked most of the fuses and now I'm lost and stuck....

Recently on my 2002 4cyl Camry, I've noticed i seem to be getting terrible mileage (I've been keeping tabs on it over the course of several months). I've been getting only about 300 miles to the tank (mixed city/hwy). I expected to get approximately ~400 miles at least. Most noticeably, this last couple weeks after filling the tank approximately halfway according to the gas gauge, I've gotten only 120 miles before the gas light came on (where I continued to drive for approximately 15 miles).
I then filled the tank all the way up at the gas station and after the pump automatically shut off, I noticed it only filled up just shy of 12 gallons. the 02 Camry should contain 18.5 gallons, so after the gas light comes on i would assume there to be about 2 gallons or so remaining, but most certainly not 6! (also want to add that after the pump shut off, the gas meter didn't actually fully reach the F line but was a bit below it.
So in my mind right now there could be two potential problems that may be interrelated, my cars MPG is being affected somehow by my car guzzling gas AND/OR my gas gauge might not be working properly, which could fool me into thinking that 120 miles on 1/2 tank might have actually been a result of incorrect metering on the gauge and I might have actually had less than 1/2 a tank.
Camry :: 2002 - Check Engine Light Not Coming On
I have a 2002 4 cylinder Camry, and I've been having trouble with the EVAP test completing. I've been running the EVAP test to the letter, with no success, so I figure the problem might be dependent on something else not completing.
I used to get the occasional check engine light for loose gas cap. So a few days ago I intentionally left the gas cap VERY loose (it's essentially just sitting in the filler nozzle). But I'm not getting the check engine light. I think that the gas tank pressure test may not be running, and that may be why I can't get the EVAP test to complete successfully.
Conditions: The gas level is about 1/2 full, and the ambient temperature has been around 20-35 degrees F.
I'm having a hard time searching. Most search results deal with how to resolve the loose gas cap problem. The check engine light is not burned out... it comes on briefly when I start the car!
Camry :: 2002 - AC Compressor / Belt Started Squealing For A Few Seconds Then Stopped
I have a problem with my A/C Compressor. The other day while going down the freeway my belt started squealing for a few seconds then stopped. Yesterday when my wife was driving it did it again, and then another time while at idle and the engine struggled and almost died.
I went to look at it last night thinking maybe the belt was loose, but what i found was when the A/C Tried to engage, you here the click, and you see the compressor clutch jolt but not spin. It tries to engage 3-4 times before the system stops and the ac light blinks. Also found some burnt belt on the clutch pully. To me it sounds like the Compressor is locked up or frozen somehow inside.
My first instinct is to get a new compressor. Ive done a bit of mechanic work but not much on A/C. If i replace the compressor, do i just have a shop vac it out, replace, and recharge? car has 150,000 miles, do i need to replace any other components? 2002 V6 Camry....
Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: 2002 - ABS Light On - Speedometer Bouncing - O/D Light Flashing?
this morning my 02 decided to turn the ABS light on, and start bouncing the speedometer. plus, the OD light is flashing when stopped with foot on the brakes, but the trans is shifting fine.
nothing changed on the truck except almost 3 inches of rain fell last night.
will AE tell me if the VSS is going bad?
Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: 2004 F250 - Check Gauge Light Coming On And Tow Haul Light Flashing
2004 F-250 6.0 Turbo Diesel W/ Torque Shift Transmission. Im having a problem with my Check Gauge light coming on and Tow Haul light flashing on my 04 F-250. I got a Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor from my local Ford Dealership. They also said i needed to replace the Transmission harness for this application because of an open circuit.
My questions are, Is Mercon SP the only ATF that can be used on the Torque shift transmission and do i really need to replace the harness or just the sensor? I have read up a little on this and so far everything say's drain the fluid, drop the trans pan, swap out the sensor, replace the trans pan (torque setting is 11flbs I believe, correct me if I am wrong, replace with Mercon SP ATF and your good to go.
Camry :: 07 Toyota LE Seat Belt Light Keeps On Flashing And Airbag Light Is Solid
I have a 2007 Toyota Camry LE, and the seat belt light keeps on flashing and the airbag light is solid. We have tried literally everything possible, tried replacing the seat, replaced the seats sensors, tried a airbag module out of another 07 camry with exact same part #. Toyota have diagnosed that all the systems for airbag is fine, except it has something to do with the seat belt of the drivers side/or module but all that's been checked and still no luck. My car is due for Safety inspecting coming month and need this to fixed. How to handle this. Btw light came on because we had a blown fuse for the drivers power seat, and my mechanic thought that it was the motor so we replaced the seat and noticed that it wasn't the motor. Was just the fuse and we put back the original seat and everything is functional except the lights came on. No accidents on it to the extent i know. and the wiring is all plugged back properly without anything like wiring damage.

I have a 02 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. V6 4.0L with a 5R55E transmission. About 210,000 miles.
A few weeks ago after a trip i discovered i had a coolant leak. It took me a couple of days to figure out that it was the lower thermostat housing. Fixed that and I thought my troubles were over. WRONG.
A few days later the O/D light started flashing and I got to enjoy the wonderful "Limp Mode". The problem only showed up when I had to slow down for a stop. As soon as I started to go again and it went to shift into second (or overdrive 1st) the o/d would start flashing and hello "limp mode".
I got on the web and started reading. I ended up replacing the speed sensor (in the rear differential), the crankshaft sensor, and readjusted the bands with no luck. I would have to shut the truck off at every stop sign/red light just to avoid "limp mode".
Last week I went to a friends shop to have them change the oil and we started talking about the problem. I got him to flush the transmission fluid and look at the codes.
He got the following codes: P0731, P0732, P0733, and P0734. Incorrect gear ration 1 - 4. He cleared them and nothing popped back up.
That cleared up most of the problems.
Same scenario as before but only after I reach 40-50 mph. If I'm just in city traffic it doesn't pop up. And if I'm driving around with no stop signs/red lights it won't reappear. But if i get up to 40-50 mph and have to complete stop, as soon as I take off again and it shifts into that second gear (or sometimes 3rd gear) it will go into "limp mode".
Ford - Mountaineer :: 2002 - OD Off Light Flashing?
The below is for a 175k mile '02 Mercury Mountaineer 4.0L with 5R55W trannie that has previously had somewhat of a whining sound in 2nd gear (I thot it was rear differential). Note: I just changed the fluid & filter myself last week due to its shifting being a little harsh. Then, this past Sunday, the O/D light started flashing after about 5 min of driving (but the CEL is NOT on). It also did so the next two times I drove it after that.

I have a 2002 Mazda Protege with 74K miles. For the last month the battery light has been flashing on and off, more on lately. When I first noticed the battery light flash on, I took the car to my mechanic and he couldn't find anything wrong with it. Soon after my car wouldn't start after I had it parked for about 10 minutes. It wouldn't hold a jump, so I had it towed to a nearby auto mechanic and had the battery changed. Since the battery change the battery light has still been flashing on and off. Yesterday, after my car had been parked for about 1.5 hours, it wouldn't start again. It made a click-click-click sound but would not start. My car was able to hold a jump this time and I drove it to my mechanic. Once again he was unable to find anything wrong with the car. What might be wrong with my car?

I replaced my wheel bearings and wheels roughly 6 months ago, right after I noticed my wheels gittered when turning at low speeds. I assumed this was a power steering issue or the new tires. I have now learned from this forum that it is most likely stuck in 4x4 HIGH but has no indications on the dash. Just yesterday though the actual 4x4 High light started flashing in different variations. I get 6 flashes one time, then 8 flashes 2 minutes later on the dash and so on back and forth. When I stop I can put the truck in 4x4 high and the light stays on, same with 4x4 low. Then when I go back to 4x4 auto they go off but I still feel gittering while turning at low speeds. What would cause this? I see a lot of people replacing the Xfer case control module but no one seems to have the same problem.

Rodeo :: 4x4 Light Flashing On Dash - Noise Coming From Under The Car
Just had the 1st chance to put car in 4x4 and noticed that the 4x4 light on the dash just flashes. I do hear a noise from under the car like it is engaging something but the light flashes.What could this be? The lever will go into 4 wheel low and appears to be OK.
When I activate the button on the dash I can hear something happening under the truck,and I am able to put the truck in 4wheel low. But I am still not getting the front to engage.

I have a 2002 Toyota Corolla CE with about 115,000 miles.While I was traveling on the highway my car started shaking, losing power, and the check engine light started flashing. I drove a mile or two to a rest area because I didn't want to pull over on the highway. I had it towed home. It starts and idles, but I'm afraid to get it out on the road.

My 2002 mustang with 97k miles just had what has been described to me as a severely overheated transmission. The O/D OFF light was flashing and I noticed some faint smoke and a terrible odor from the burning transmission fluid. I was told by a nearby transmission specialist that it would cost $2500 to rebuild the transmission and put in an external cooling device (which he said was necessary).

My car sat for three days in a parking lot while I was away. When came back I noticed a flashing blue light coming from just below the steering wheel and above the brake pedal at the edge of the under part of the dash. When I entered the car, and started it, it went away.
