Santa Fe (CM - 2007-12) :: Sunroof Shade Does Not Slide Back Completely
I was noticing that the shade for the sunroof does not slide back 100%. It seems like they could have made it go back another inch or 2.

My 2006 (with conti contacts, still in good shape) seems to behave differently from my 2004 (pirelli scorpions).
When accelerating and turning together (doesn't need to be a sharp turn, can be gradual), occasionally I feel my back seem to "slide" a bit. It's a strange sensation and I can't seem to really place it. It doesn't feel like I'm fishtailing, more like the outer rear wheel in the turn is accelerating a little too fast and pushing my rear end a bit too far too fast.
It only happens for a second and then everything is normal again. I haven't had any troubles with my 2006 beyond this (besides the DVD nav issue). But it does give me a bit of concern, as if the AWD system is a little "off".

I have a weird situation, when I open the sunroof then try to close it, it slides to the middle then opens again. After four trials the sunroof switches to manual then I close it manually.

2 days ago, our 1996 G20'S sun roof slid open as normal. Unfortunately It would not slide back to a closed position. The roof's motor can be heard running when both switches are depressed (for either function) ; sliding and tilting. The roof will no longer do either function. I was able to pull the sun roof closed by hand but could not make the back edge of the glass rise up to be sealed closed completely. Obviously it became disengaged from the motor somehow. Would it be somewhat possible for me to get inside of the roof to hook it all back together/replace parts ? Is the location of the motor behind the sunroof control panel?

I noticed that the back of my sunroof is not perfectly aligned with the roof line. When i push on it from the inside it goes up and aligns properly so i was wondering if there is an "easy" way to adjust it so that it stays flushed permanently .

I have a 2007 nissan Altima and the sun roof is not working. It does not go back when you press the button. The vent will go up when you press the vent button on the sunroof but the sunroof itself will not go back. I have checked fuses and it's not that. Also it seems that the top of the sunroof on the outside of the car seems to be dropping down slightly on the left side. Could it be off track?

Now I know I know....dealership can set the settings for my unlock button to automatically set my windows down and sunroof back. I was installing my fk streetlines yesterday and when I was taking the strut out I must of let the knuckle sag to close to the ground. This caused the outer cv boot to stretch and pop out. Do I need an entire new cv boot? Or can I just slide it back on?

I've got a 2007 3.8 tg with about 46000mi on it and it will intermittently not start and only lights on the dash are the abs and esc lights on start up. Also will reset the clock and trip. the dealer has put in a new battery and immobilizer antenna, but the problem is still there, it was about 1k miles apart the last time it died after the battery replacement.

Just got this Azera with 61K running after replacing front end body parts. This code (bank 2 sensor 1) came on. I reset the code and it came on in about 30 miles again. From my reading it seems this car has 4 O2 sensors.

Bought a used 2007 Azera Limited last week. Yesterday, the car was parked outside and there were thunderstorms but I didn't hear the car alarm go off. Today, I was unable to get into my car. The locks wont open from the remote or using the key. Wonder whats wrong !
Even the emergency alarm (red button on the remote) won't work. I can see a red blinking light from the top of the dash that indicates that the car is locked.

I have a 2007 Azera . About a week ago when I was going to sit in the car I noticed that driver seat leaned completely forward , I didn't pay attention to it and put it back but today When I was driving the the highway the driver seat suddenly started to leaning forward and push me in to the steering wheel, and the switch didn't work to put it back until It reach forward dead end . when I stopped the car and turn it off I could put it back with it's switch , also the seat memory's were erased . I happen 2 times in the highway then I decided to remove the seats fuse.

Car has 67k. It did this before when the car was under 50k. took it in , got it documented and they could find nothing. Last 3 days when I punch on the freeway to pass someone, the car goes in to neutral. Manually down shifting does not work. I had to pull to the side of the freeway today for a few minutes before it would engage. Felt like I was in a very dangerous situation.

I have a 2007 Azera with a 3.8 engine. It has 16000 miles without any problems. There is a clicking noise coming from the engine compartment when accelerating. The noise only occurs when the engine is cold and seems to be more pronounced when accelerating quickly. I do not hear it when the car is idling.

The power Tailgate window works but the sunroof doesn't and i noticed tonight that the button for the tailgate window is illuminated green signifying it has power but the sunroof button right next to it is not illuminated. I just bought the truck yesterday and knew that the sunroof didn't work. i figured i could fix it i just am not sure where to start yet.
It looks like the sunroof might have leaked before and so the previous owner sealed it with silicone from the roof of the truck. i removed the silicone and made the sunroof free to open and close but i still have the issue that there is no power to the sunroof. i was thinking maybe the motor burned out because it couldn't move and that someone had tried to open it while it was glued shut, but that still doesn't explain the light not coming on.
Prius (2010-12) :: 2007 - Center Armrest Slide And Tilt
Due to the way the armrest slides back to reveal the cup holder and then tilts it is hitting my sons legs while he is sitting in the rear seats. Cant quite see the logic in the design of this as when its slid back there is like 10 cm space between the back of the armrest and the rear seat. The design on our old 2007 was much better. No slide, just tilt. I know that my 3 boys in the back will find some way to damage it while its slid back or tilted back plus I dont really want my sons legs to be cut off in a potential accident. So my question is, how to successfully modify it to stop the slide and allow it just to tilt?
