Avalon 2005-12 :: 2006 - Fuse For Daytime Running Lights (DRL)
I have a 2006 Avalon and I accidentally touch two wires on one of the DRL lights and it blew out I changed the bulb and still nothing, which fuse operates them? I check the owners manual and did see any fuse that runs the DRL.

A/C wont work. The freon is empty no visual scratch or leak found pipe or condenser. I haven't check the evaporator, the latter may be tough to check as it sits inside the dash.

Avalon 2005-12 :: Humming Noise In All Speakers When Day Time Running Lights Are On
I Get a humming noise in all my speakers if I have my DTR lights on... Fog lamps don't matter, head lamps don't matter, just the day time running lights make it hum. If I have the lights set to "auto" and it's day time it hums, and if I switch it to day lights it keeps humming. But if I turn on the headlights (day light turns off) or if I turn the headlights off, the humming stops both ways. Fog lamps don't matter at all either. Why I'm getting humming with just the day time running lights??

Is it possible if Lexus can make it so when the Daytime running lights are on that the tail lights come on? It appears MASS has just passed a law when it is raining and you have your windshield wipers on you have to have your lights on...I leave mine on Auto and have auto windshield wipers so kinda takes away the purpose if I have to turn my lights all the way on each time.

The Trailblazer quit running like it ran out of gas. I had it towed and put a new fuel pump in it. When I try starting it, it acts like it isnt firing. It is also clicking over what looks like a carburetor next to the breather. It clicks really fast and keeps on till I turn the key off. I can see what I think is the coil packs and it is to the right of this. I have replaced the battery as well. The engine will turn over but wont fire.

Interior cabin lights and the light in the trunk stopped working in my 2009 Avalon Limited. The clock in the dashboard also not working. Other things such as smart key, dashboard lights, cd player works fine.

I (or rather my dad) have a 2007 avalon limited. I'm trying to install a backup camera for him. I don't know if it's something I did now but I see the outer reverse lights (on the car body, rather than trunk lid) don't come on as they should. Also any tips to install the video interface and/or camera are extremely welcome - it can never be too basic!

Part of the Canadian RIV import requirements was to have daytime running lights installed in the car. I've tried it every way I can think of and I can't get my daytime running lights to turn off. I have the base model gti so I don't have buttons on my steering wheel. the manual says to push the left wand down and to the back. then turn on the ignition for three seconds......doesn't do anything. I am thinking they left out a step or forgot something counting wise?

I've never been a fan of daytime running lights, useless option that shortens the life of the bulbs. My Audi A8L had an option in the MMI that would allow you to turn the DRL's off. Is there a similar option on the 04 Phaeton W12? Or is there a fuse I can pull? Or is VAG-COM the only way (I don't have one yet - not in my immediate budget)?

Let me start off by saying I have removed the TFL pin and I am doing it on the euroswitch. But the suckers still keep coming here is the catch I have Xenons installed on my car and the bulbs are not the cheapest to replace. I installed the Xenons from an audi TT. Also if I need a VAG computer or tech I got acces to that too.
