Accent RB (2012+) :: Rough Idle / Mild Shaking When Cold
I bought my 2012 Accent a few months ago. I have been noticing that when its cold it has a bit of a rough idle. Nothing bad, no reving, but just a general mild shaking. No check engine light either. It happens in park, reverse, neutral, and drive. It stops and runs smooth after a few mins of driving. Since I bought it I have been using Top Tier gas and a bottle of gumout at oil change. Could it be just the way the engine is, since it is a small 4cyl? Like I said its not bad or affecting the way it drives, just seems strange to me.

She's got a 2013 RB GLS.
In very cold weather, we're talking around -15c (5f) or colder the car has serious trouble going into first gear or any gear.
The car starts fine, we even have let it warm up so the engine temp is fully warmed up.
As soon as we put the car into first and release the clutch, the car immediately stalls. It's also difficult to get into first gear, as it's locked out and takes repeated attempts to get into first, just to have it stall when the clutch is released.
Accent RB (2012+) :: Car Shaking On Cold Start And Vibration At 3000 RPM
When I start the car and its cold outside the car is shaking like a leaf for about 1 minute and when I arrive at 3000rpm there is like a vibration in the steering and in the pedals.

Now my A/C dose not work the lamp of A/C switch lighting and the blower work good with all 4 speeds but no cold air .
Itested R 134 a refrigrant and it's pressure it was good (with Low side). The problem is that clutch of compressor does not rotate until I make a jumber between 30-87 pin of A/c relay and then my A/C working very good.
I know that mean I jump triple pressure sensor and thermostat sensor. I do not want make that jumper. What can I do (test anything to make my A/C working normally).
Accent RB (2012+) :: Right Light Keeps Going Out
So, I recently purchased a new HID kit for my car, with a harness and power source from the battery and everything. But the problem is my right light keeps going out. I had trouble when I first installed it so I switched the ballast and it still had the same problem on the same side, so jiggled around with the ground for a little and it worked. Later it went out again and while driving it went back on and for the next two days it worked. It's out again now and I have yet to play around with it.

I have rpm fluctuation when i put in idle after warming up the engine . I've done cleaning the throttle valve ,change the alternator and change battery.

So, I just got home and turned off the ignition. I then accidentally clicked off ECO. When I went to press the button again, it lights up and it does on my dash as well, but once I let go of the button, they are both off. I thought this had something to do with the car being off, so I started it and I still couldn't get ECO to go on.
Am I doing something wrong or is it possible that the button is broken?
Accent LC (2000-05) :: 2001 - AC Won't Blow Cold Air
I took my car in for an oil change a few months ago when I was told the belt going to my a/c compressor was missing. It must have snapped off some time in the winter. I got the belt replaced and when I go to turn on the a/c I can hear it engage but the air that comes out is no colder than just having the vent on. A friend told me I just need to recharge the refrigerant.

2008 Accent 234,000 miles, Auto. I have an issue with my A/C that I can't seem to get a handle on. The A/C does not blow cold all the time.
Blows cold - When driving all the time. While sitting still IF it is cool out. Cools to around 48 degrees in the morning.
Does not cool - When sitting still and it is hot out. Has blown over 100 with outside temps around the same.
Freon levels are fine. Sounded like an airflow problem so I replaced the condenser fan and it did not work. Both fans are running when the A/C is on.
Something is turning off the compressor when it is hot and I'm not driving. I did notice one day that the high side A/C line was extremely hot to the touch. Does this system have a high pressure switch? Could it be a high pressure issue only when the compressor gets hot?
Accent RB (2012+) :: Air Condition Noise At Low RPM
I have a weird sound from my car air condition, i just need to check if all Rb`s have the same sound or just me. When the air condition is on and car RPM between 850 & 1000, A quite VOoOm sound is heard and you can feel some vibration under your feet. when rpm is more than 1000 the sound disappear, the sound comes only when AC is ON. I start investigating the noise and i when i open the hood and put my hands on the pipes Low and high of the AC, i feel this sound and vibration inside the pipes, i tried to keep the pipes a bit away from the body by putting some rubber, the sound and vibration decreased. why such sound appear at low RPM? Every thing in the AC is normal. I went to the dealer service center and they though it was the AC compressor, and change it, but the sound still there.

I have started noticing a hum or vibration that I can feel in the pedals when I am cruising around 50-60mph. Doesn't matter what gear (automatic trans) I am in, I can feel the gas pedal vibrating slightly at those speeds. Below or above that, it goes away. Any thoughts? I know dealer, dealer, dealer, but wanted to know what you all thought so I can have some direction to lead the mechanic in so they dont tie my car up the whole day.
Don't think it's:
Wheel bearing because I don't hear it all the time.
brakes because I don't feel any vibration at other speeds.
Gear box because I can shift into different gears at different speeds with no sound.
Tires because I just got them rotated and the tread still looks new after 22,000 miles.

My Accent has 89000km (about 54000 miles) and has been pinging under acceleration...tried higher octane gas with no improvement.

My wife had her car go off today while driving. Prior to this happening, she had switched off the engine while in a gas station, with the gear in D. After driving about 13kms more, the car goes off while in motion and doesn't restart immediately. When it finally does, it shudders until finally stabilizing. Could it possibly be due to the single act of switching off while in D gear? The car is a 2013 accent GLS.

I've had cars in the past that the fan would come on automatically when the ac was turned on regardless of the temp. Meaning the second the ac button was hit, the cooling fan came on.
I have the 13 GS and it does not come on automatically. Is the fan supposed to come on automatically with ac on or is it temperature driven even with ac on?
Accent RB (2012+) :: Avg Mpg Dropped From Usual 25 Down To 21 / 22
Took my car into the dealership today. They're ordering a new steering wheel but they also said that this happens more with women drivers bc of lotions and stuff. I know how chemicals can manipulate materials but I don't use any of smelly scented stuff. I think it's bs. Who cares.
They ran a diagnostic check for the mpg and said its fine. That's all. Then why has my avg mpg dropped from the usual 25 down to 21/22 for the last month??? There is something going on but I can't figure it out. even with the low mpg numbers itself they aren't concerned.
Accent RB (2012+) :: Malfunction Indicator (CEL) Came On
My girlfriend has a 2012 Accent and she told me her CEL was on. Told her to take it to Autozone and have them read it. Told her to write code down but she didn't - said the guy told her she just needed an oil change. Boy did she. Changed filter and dumped oil. She had only about a quart left! Put in 3.5 Qts. Drove it around but light still on

It's been a while, but my clutch has been really stiff for a while now. I don't think it was always this stiff. My mother has the same car and her clutch is really "light" and is very easy to press in. While mine is about as stiff as my friends corvette.... Is it just normal in that all clutches feel different or could something be wrong?

Got a code p0087 on my 2012 accent (manual). The car won't go over 60 mph and has trouble going over 3,000 rpm. Car won't turn on unless I pump the gas for several seconds.

Of all the manual transmission gasoline engine cars/trucks I've driven before, RB Accent has the least amount of engine braking regardless of engine RPM. Did Hyundai program throttle to stay open while gas pedal is off for smoother driving?
