Accent LC (2000-05) :: Leaking Right In The Center Of Engine
I bought a 2001 Accent GL 1.6 automatic today, for a good gas millage get around car.. It runs great, no over heating or any of that type of stuff.. When I backed out from the sellers driveway to test drive, I got out to look for leakage anywhere on the driveway.. I saw nothing.. Looked fine. Drove it, then eventually bought the car.. Drove it home, all is fine.. Well my driveway is at about a 45 degree angle not flat at all..
So I pulled into the driveway.. Front end facing upward.. A while later I went out just to look around.. Noticed it leaking right in the center pretty much of engine.. Thought it was oil at first.. But it almost has that gear oil smell to it.. Hint of it anyway.. So, I thought, great.. Pulled it into the garage where it is level ground.. No leaking at all on level ground.. Pulled it back out and parked it on the driveway front end pointed down this time.. No leak.. Just leaking when facing upward on the hill..

I've been having a few problems with my 2000 hyundai accent recently. The biggest is the dashboard lights aren't working not the best thing if you have night classes. How I can make those lights come back?

The lights that light up the A/C controls in my '03 Accent went out. I checked all the fuses in the engine bay and inside the car and they were all fine. Since only the lights relating to the A/C controls are out, is it just a bulb? if so, how do I change the bulb? I began to take off the dashboard cover, but I didn't see any bulbs.

I have an Accent 2003 - 2 door hatchback and for a while the light stays on, on my dash that the trunk is open.. I checked the lock, and the switch, and they are all ok.
Funny thing is, when I press the brake pedal, then the light turns of. Thought I would just deal with it, but it's driving me insane, looking at that light. I had to remove the light bulb from my trunk, since it is staying on all the time, and it had drained the battery.
I found through google some wiring schematics, but doesn't look like it's 100% correct.. Are there any available for my car, or even better, what it could be? (Faulty wire?)
Accent LC (2000-05) :: How To Remove Caliper To Replace Pads And Rotors
I need to replace the rotors and calipers on my 04 accent gl. I noticed there are 5 bolts on the back of the caliper. I know one is for the flex hose connection. Then there are 2 big hex bolts closest to the dust plate. Are those for the caliper mounting bracket? and if so will they need to be removed? Then the final two are on the outer edge, however the top one is rounded and rusted, is this normal? The one on the bottom is a hex. So what needs to be removed to change the rotors and pads? I also notice that there are two screw holes in the rotor, that I guess snug it in place against the hub, however the screws are missing. Is this bad? are they needed? and if so can I get new ones?

The driver and passenger side were no problems at all, but the center vent is giving me trouble. I've seen the how-to, but can't get it to pop out. I don't really have a proper screwdriver, at home, to push up on the two clips on the top inside of the vent, but I used a hard plastic interior trim removal tool, while prying at the top with another. I have left the bottom controls in as I can't pull the left side buttons out enough to disconnect them while the vent is still in.

Volvo :: Message Center On Dashboard Won't Display Anything
I have had an S60 since 2001, 2.0 petrol first and then a 2003 D5.
I am having problems with my message center and my indicator. The message center won't display anything. It just a mass of jumbled letter moving about. The indicator lights and sound won't work on the dashboard although they are working fine outside.
The dealer say that a new dashboard is needed, which is very expensive. Any fix to this? a reboot maybe?

I have a 2012 Prius V, and somehow A tin of Altoids has fallen behind the drawer, (hidden drawer) of the center console. How to remove the drawer to access behind it?
I can't see any catch or release to trigger releasing the drawer. I also think accessing it by opening up the whole console from the top is risky as the EV, ECO, and PWR mode buttons are wired into it.
