Golf VI R :: Passenger Window Will Go All The Way Up Then Roll Back Down 2 To 3 Inches
So for some reason today, my passenger (front) window decided that it doesn't want to stay shut when I auto roll it from both the driver and passenger side switches. It will go all the way up, and then roll back down approximately 2-3 inches like it is doing a pinch protection. If it is rolled all the way up manually it stays up. I have visually checked the track and don't see any obstructions, which I didn't expect to find since it will stay up when done manually. Is there something I'm missing or an easy fix?

I have been having problems with my drivers side power window on my 06 Ford F-150. At first, it would roll down, but wouldn't roll back up, so I replaced the switch. After replacing the entire power window control switch, if you push the switch for the drivers window down, it will start to go down, then stop, and you have to press it about 20 times to get it all the way down. You can definitely hear the switch clicking off. All the other windows work perfect. I took it to get the oil changed and asked about it, and they said to change out the regulator, which I did, but the same thing happens. I checked the fuse and that was fine. Is there a relay or something I should check?

Recently had a driver's side window replaced in my 99 GMC Sierra. Also had the regulator and a door handle replaced as they were broken as well, but I knew this going in. Was informed I needed a new master switch and had them order/install.
Today I turned the key on and the window began rolling down on it's own. I hit the switch to stop it, which it did, but only as long as I held the switch down. Now the window is all the way down and will not roll back up. Passenger side window works fine from either switch. Door locks work as well for whatever that's worth.
Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: Passenger Cannot Roll The Power Windows Back Up
Passengers can roll down the power windows on front passenger door and both back doors. But, they cannot roll the windows back up. The only way they can do that is to have me do it from the driver door. The window lock button is unlocked. I am thinking some is wrong with the driver main window controller since it all goes back to it.

I have a 1999 GMC Jimmy 4.3 Vortec. When you turn the key it doesn't roll over, all I can hear is a click in the passenger kick panel. I have checked the starter solenoid with a jumper and it is fine. After a ton of checking with a multimeter and swapping fuses and relays I found something- when I remove the 40A "ign A" fuse in the fuse panel under the hood and plug it back in, I turn the key and it fires right up and stays running. However if I shut it off and try to start a second time, it doesn't roll over and begins clicking in kick panel again.

As previously reported, I'm happy overall with my new 04, but one of the squawks I want to have looked at is the passenger window. The window stops it's upward travel about 1/16 of an inch from the top. If left there, I get a significant wind whistle. I can manually move it the last little bit, which I did (and now forbid anyone using that window until it is looked at). My major concerns are a "clattering" noise coming from the inside of the door when the window goes up or down. I'm wondering if this sound is a symptom of the controller going bad, or if I'm missing some sort of retraining for the window.

I have a 1999 f250 crew cab. About 6 months ago my drivers side window quit working in the up position(lucky me) and last week I got around to fixing it . I just ordered a new window motor instead of the whole regulator and installed it and it worked perfect for 4 days and today it suddenly quit again. What would cause a window motor to go out again so quick? Everything else seems to be fine and there is power to it so I'm assuming it's the motor.

I bought the 2 door 2012 Golf 3 weeks ago and I noticed that whenever I roll the passenger window up or down, there is a high pitched squeal somewhere, I think out of the speakers. Passenger power window will go down but not back up. I replaced the motor, it worked for a month and now it will not go up. Ford replaced the motor. Still doing the same thing. I have plugged the motor on the driver side and it works just fine. I am thinking that there is a wiring problem. Where I can get a wiring schematic?

I have a 2007 GS 350 and i bought the weather tech window visors for my car with matching floor liners. Both look great on the car but I am having problems with the window visors. Since installing them (following the directions letting them sit for a week or so without opening the windows) I still don't have the automatic feature back to roll up in one click of the switch. once it hits the top of the window the safety feature kicks in and the window rolls back down. if i hold the window switch all the way it will close. I am trying to get back that one click and automatically closes. my friend has the same visors on his is 250 and his still works fine.

I just got done repairing the 6x9 speaker in the passenger side door and all went well, except the passenger window switch now blinks and will not roll down/up from the driver side controls! I've removed the panel and double checked all connections and no dice. The window rolls up and down fine using the passenger side control, but not the driver's side. I'm having some issues with my 99 ranger. It all started on my way to work one afternoon. Going down the road I started to smell some type of electrical burning smell. I looked at my instrument cluster and seen a trail of smoke come up between the steering wheel and ins cluster from under and gear selector covers. After that the O/D off light started flashing and downshifting hard. My pwr windows and dome light also quit working. Checked fuse #26 and all my fuses before going into work that afternoon, all of them were good and none blown. After shift was over that night going home I needed to use the wipers and they wouldn't work either. Also noticed then that my speedo, odometer and trip odometer not working. I've pulled my dash and steering covers off trying to find or see anything but nothing yet.
